A developer has been granted planning consent to build 7 luxury homes on a site with an environmental designation in Buckie, Scotland. Help us Save Slochy.
Around me the trees stir in their leaves
and call out, βStay awhile.β
The light flows from their branches.
And they call again, βItβs simple,β they say,
βand you too have come
into the world to do this, to go easy, to be filled
with light, and to shine.β

Are you really though, @lornaslater ? What about Slochy? A woodlands being destroyed for 7 luxury homes. An important wildlife habitat gone. We are having to take the matter to Court. Money + Mouth springs to mind, and an entirely corrupt planning system.
Scotland has some of the most beautiful and iconic natural scenery and wildlife in the world, and we are putting it at the heart of our recovery. πππ² https://t.co/ktz9TctvKo
We have used our statutory right of appeal to challenge the decision of the Local Review Body in terms of this consent.
We have appointed Senior & Junior Counsel and an instructing Solicitor.
And thereβs the small matter of a Protective Expenses Order.
Weβre not playing.
Having just lodged our appeal in Court, we know how expensive this process is, but you canβt put a price of environmental justice. Please give what you can. #SaveSwanscombe
Good morning! βοΈ
Please can you help #SaveSwanscombe
By helping to raise Β£10,000 with @CrowdJustice to get the much needed legal & expert advice - and stop this wildlife haven becoming a theme park?
Please retweet, thank you ππ»πππ

On behalf of the group, we would like to thank each and every one of you for supporting us; your support means the world and means we can give the Slochy Woodland residents a voice. Bring on 2022 when the fight continues as we head to the Court of Session.
We are still here, battling on. The Decision Notice for the consent has been issued and we have 5 weeks now to apply to the Court of Session to use our statutory right of appeal. Watch this space for further updates.
