Enjoyed by thousands of people young and old. Let’s hand it to the future generations to enjoy. Saved twice before from closure let’s make this 3 NIL to SMLC ✊
We have fought for 20 years to keep St Marys Leisure Centre a council run, sports and leisure facility for the community. Labours plans to privatise put all that at risk. What future for SMLC? More news to follow ✊❤️

Keep DB Leisure a Public Service
Monday 3 March, 5.15pm, Dudley Council House - Keep DB Leisure Centres a public service - lobby ahead of Labour motion to keep the leisure centres open.
Objections to Dudley Council's attempts to privatise the operating of our leisure centres. Objections to the prospect of higher charges and attacks on staff pay, terms and conditions, so a private company can make profits at Council Taxpayers' expense. #soldarity

Further cuts will increase health and social problems when we should be reversing the effects of 14 years of austerity.
We call on Southampton councillors to join us outside the Civic Centre, Wednesday 26 February, 1.30pm to give their support to our campaign.
Picture from 2004
For many stretched finances mean access to leisure services is squeezed.
We need low cost accessible health and leisure services to meet the needs of all.
Privatisation has not succeeded.
Campaign supporters will be lobbying @SouthamptonCC councillors.
Will any Labour, Tory, LibDem or Green councillor support our call to oppose cuts, privatisation & secret deals?
10 year life expectancy gap in #Southampton between rich & poor communities. #CutsKill#SportForAll
An invitation to all campaign supporters. All welcome to discuss how we can ensure SMLC remains a council run, fully funded, community sports and leisure centre, to meet the needs of all into the future.
