Been a blast, but now seems as good a time as any to actually leave this site. I’ve been here since the very beginning, it was more fun then. My blog is https://t.co/Oovd0kJTkO and I’m @save.vs.totalpartykill.ca on BlueSky. So simple, right?
£ 9,000 -Re-Print A Night at the Golden Duck
You know once I have these printed I have to individually cut and fold all of these with my own hands right? Then I have to ship them to my fulfilment centre, which, even if I do a whole bunch, is still just going to be one or two boxes? And then when you by one, with fulfilment charges, VAT and postage, it costs WAYYY too much to just order one? So its really only good for adding on to orders?
@GibletBlizzard @vyderac I was trying to get people blogging again, with minimal success. Even I am inconsistent with posting smaller posts to my blog. But unless you are Grognardia, Noism, etc, you usually don’t see the same or any discussion.
Such superlative science fiction. Feels like it will be a classic of the genre. It was so imaginative. People really should check it out! I hope they make a fancy 4K blu ray or something.
Six Forgotten New England Monsters 🧵
(During the Kickstarter for Queen Mab's Palace I am trying to blog as a much as possible. This will be separated into two streams; Echoing Stars for my dark Science Fiction Posts, and Fall Posts for more fantasy-esque Autumn Themed ones. The first Fall Post was Twelve Adventures of the Autumn Lands, this is the second;)
The artwork by August Lake Cartland for Patrick’s latest book, Queen Mabs Palace, looks amazing. Continuing where he left off with Gackling Moon, Patrick has said “fuck it” and just made a novel. Novels were the original adventure modules, I suppose.
Is it even a False Machine book if it doesn’t include some subtle or not so subtle digs at people being nerds about art? The Painted Planes section of Gackling Moon is enjoyable.
Everyone reads D&D at the cottage, right? What even is The Gackling Moon? Patrick’s take on the 2e gazetteer as literary fiction? Probably a description he will hate. Just finished reading about the illusory city. Loved it. Peak imagination. What you want from his books.
We are less than $1K from unlocking The Order of the Azure Eyes! We’ll reveal the next achievement if we can unlock Azure Eyes. And it’s a big one…

Man...this thing. I imagine that for many designers reading this, it is a little bit like drummers listening to Phil Collins on Foxtrot. You just have to accept it and do your best. Can't all be Sholtis. This is just stupid good. #dnd#osr
