I love Ukraine. Have run this "blog" since 2014. I am here every day.
Lived in Crimea 6 years, Vinnitsa 1.5 years. "wanted for questioning" in Crimea since 2014
🚀 Fire Point has begun integrating European technologies into the Freya missile defense system.
🕴️ According to CEO Iryna Terekh, 13 European defense companies have already joined the project and will supply radars, guidance systems, and other components.
Among the partners:
🇳🇴 Kongsberg — command center;
🇩🇪 Diehl Defence — guidance system;
🔅The project will also feature an open architecture, allowing components from different manufacturers to be integrated.
Fire Point plans to achieve the first successful target interception with the Freya system by mid-2027.

Let's see. Sen. Graham's bill could be called Xeno’s Bill, always halfway closer but never actually being enacted. Even if the House passes it next month, even if Trump signs it, he would have to choose to take action against Russia—action he could take now if he wanted to.

@UkrReview This Republican consistently backs Ukraine and criticizes Trump. But as far as affecting his fellow Republicans; it's like pissing against the wind....

"Although 70% of Americans support Ukraine, the White House's policy creates the impression that people there relate to the other 30%.
Giving Ukrainians the opportunity to produce Patriot missiles would help alleviate the shortage of interceptor missiles that we face today.
Instead, the White House is sending conflicting signals at a time when Ukraine is facing an escalation of the Russian missile campaign and an acute shortage of interceptors."

One man eliminated an enemy command and observation post.
A border guard from the Apex UAV unit of the Forpost Brigade, known by the callsign Dushman, learned that his relatives had been killed in the occupied territory.
He made his way to the enemy's positions alone, entered an enemy trench, and destroyed the command and observation post. He seized documents and captured ammunition before returning unharmed to his comrades.
"I can tell you about the time I got into hand-to-hand combat.
We were in a village—I don't remember which one now. Then I got a call. My godmother called and told me that my family had been killed.
After that, I thought: what is an old warrior supposed to do? Go and meet his own as soon as possible. I was completely calm—no panic, nothing. It happened before dawn while the guys were asleep. I made a 1.5-kilometer dash, slipped into their trench line around 4 or 5 in the morning, right to their command post. Then I went through it with a knife.
I took some ammunition and calmly returned to the house, back to the guys."
Well, this was a pleasant surprise.
The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board published a major piece criticizing the U.S. failure to provide Ukraine with the missiles it desperately needs to defend its cities from russia’s ballistic missile attacks.
Someone shared my recent post, “I am utterly ashamed,” in the comments under the article.
It became the most liked and the most shared comments under the piece.
Thank you to everyone who is engaging with my posts, sharing, and helping to amplify this message.
I hope people in Washington are listening.
Because I meant every word I wrote:
“I am utterly ashamed.”
I am utterly ashamed that the US has stopped any help to Ukraine. We promised Ukrainians that if they give up their nuclear weapons we will guarantee their sovereignty. We made it official and called it the 1994 Budapest Memorandum. But when Ukrainian sovereignty came under attack in 2014, we did nothing. Just as we are doing nothing today to stop the russian aggression.
I am utterly ashamed of the US president – a man who not only refused to help Ukraine survive, but openly sided with war criminal Putin. Since Trump took office, russia has exponentially increased its missile and drone strikes on Ukrainian cities and civilians. Trump gave them silent permission.
I am utterly ashamed of those who voted for Trump, and especially those who still, after all the lies and betrayals, continue to cheer him on. I find such behavior despicable and morally bankrupt.
Finally, I am utterly ashamed of everyone who remains silently complicit in this genocide. People who claim that they are "neutral." The time of judgment will come – whether in this life or eternity. As Dietrich Bonhoeffer said: "Silence in the face of evil is itself evil; God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act."
Since he was fired last month, Ukraine's defense minister @FedorovMykhailo has asked @elonmusk several times to help Ukraine destroy Russian missile launchers. Musk refuses.
"Elon keeps saying it’s time to make a deal" with the Russians.

Due to Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian oil refineries, oil product exports from Russia in July fell to a 10-year low of 1.18 million barrels per day.
