There is no coming back from where we are. EVERYTHING is lies. Everything revolves around circumventing the truth. Politics, the legal system, medicine, take your pick. It's just a constant battle of everyone trying to hide the truth and get one over on the other guy. I've never seen anything like it in my life. And it isn't just that. It's regular everyday interactions. Everyone with fake smiles, false politeness, and pressured empathy. It's constant and endless. Everyone just walking around being completely disingenuous and fake at all times.
How can anyone be well adjusted to that kind of world? I crave truth always. Blunt, unadulterated, raw truth. It doesn't have to be this way. People could just stop lying. Wouldn't the world be so much more beautiful if people were just honest? That's how simple things could be.
