@VINNYGUADAGNINO@BorgataAC Congratulations! Great venue. You, in his promo sounded so familiar to me…You would’ve made a great Steve on the Blue’s Clues show back in the day. “Hey, it’s me, Steve”. Good luck on your tour.
@ciicatriiz@NY1 Let’s say you’re right…does that give them the right to consistently pelt NYPD with snowballs and follow them down the street as they’re walking away in mob-fashion? If that was you, wouldn’t you fear for your life? Asking for a friend.
@NY1 It’s a lose-lose situation for the NYPD. If they walk away, they’re deemed weak, if they defend themselves, they’re aggressive, if they stand their ground, they’re intimidating, if they join in, they’re not working. It never ends. Too bad NYPD isn’t considered a protected class.
@NY1 If a mob of “kids” were mocking & pelting him through several streets of the city with snowballs, I’m fairly certain he wouldn’t have the same response. What if the NYPD decided to join in on the “fun” and a citizen got hurt?..? Then they would just turn around & sue the NYPD.
Kids??? What a way to downplay a mob of grown-ass people stalking the NYPD through the streets. If this was a protected class of NY citizens, would you have the same response?? I think not.
I’ve seen the videos of kids throwing snowballs at NYPD officers in Washington Square Park.
Officers, like all city workers, have been out in a historic blizzard, keeping New Yorkers safe and cars moving.
Treat them with respect. If anyone’s catching a snowball, it’s me.
@Klondikebar Looks like a gravy boat made out of chocolate? And you can break it into pieces after dinner and add the chunks to some vanilla ice cream.
Tonight, Pier 17 will light up in blue to remember September 11th. We honor the lives lost, the courage of first responders, and the resilience of our city.💙 #TheSeaport
