@DisavowedVet@skumWgmi I had my ppto denied for a doctor visit for my thyroid with cancer nodules when I out it in 5 months in advance.
At the time if I had gone to that appointment i would've been fired, and my financial responsibilities can't afford that.
Be a below average employee at best.
@DisavowedVet@skumWgmi I've only ever used pto or ppto to call out for work due to medical issues or physical injuries.
I've had coworkers leave half way into their shift to go to baby showers. 5 people have joined our department and made full time before me.
Recognition doesn't mean shit.
@pabrsky@jeremyct I double my states minimum wage and I live paycheck to paycheck with little to no disposable income if any at all.
I work 40-45 hours a week on avg and make less than $1000 a paycheck. I've been cussed out had things thrown at me and had to argue with customers IN THE RAIN.
@UziCryptoo Told my manager I might be transferring to another facility within the next 2 months due to them paying $3 more per hour and the look on her face.
I flat out told her I have no intentions of burning any bridges, no ill feelings, I just have people to take care of.

@TJ_DarkRage@BamaSaltyMarine My department is only there is reduce the amount of work on the front end by encouraging people to order their items online and to come to the store to pick it up out beside where my department is located on the facility, or have it delivered to their home at a specific time.
@TJ_DarkRage@BamaSaltyMarine Which is a "holy shit we don't have enough registers open, get everyone who can work a registers down to the front end".
Or the PA calling for people to go to Digital/OGP/OPD backroom.
All those people with the blue tote carts walking around like they own the store? My DPT lol.
@TJ_DarkRage@BamaSaltyMarine Not only was the coworker having to handle too much but they were exhausted, angry, and overloaded.
Meanwhile we had 5 other people standing around doing nothing because they feel entitled to do so, due to management not dividing workload equally among the people present.
@TJ_DarkRage@BamaSaltyMarine We had plenty of people to handle the workload but instead of equally dividing it, management will send people off to do tasks other coworkers refuse to do, but are perfectly capable of it. I had to argue with my team lead about it due to having 1 person doing 4 jobs at once.
@Symply_rhoda1 Very simple rules.
Respect everyone equally until they give you a legitimate reason not to.
Keep your fucking hands to yourself.
Do not hurt someone who is innocent. If you do, you are the problem.
