At noon in Lindsborg it’s 53° and the first line of storms is just about past. We’re at a grateful 1.25” of wet precipitation mixed in with a bit of qtr-to-half-inch ice to keep things interesting! Based on the rumbling, there’s bigger hail to our south & east. #kswx @NWSWichita

At 2200 in Lindsborg its 73° with a 10+ mph south breeze out of the south. The breeze is cool as it seems to be coming off the storm to our south. Our part of the world remains dry as the storms do their best to avoid the area. #kswx @NWSWichita

The #kswx is putting on quite a star show at 9:15p in Lindsborg on this Easter evening! The temperature is 58.1° with a nearly imperceptible 1.1 mph breeze out of the south making for a beautiful night. It almost makes us forget how badly we could use some moisture. @NWSWichita

@JayPraterKAKE At 13:50 in Lindsborg, it’s 20° w/ light 5-10mph North winds making it feel like 8°. Snow has reduced visibility to about a mile, but what’s falling on cars seems to be melting due to solar/radiational heating. It may get slickery as we transition to evening. @NWSWichita #kswx

Be careful #kswx drivers… the southwest wind is blowing snow across the warm’ish asphalt, which melts said snow and then the melt refreezes into black ice. Be vigilant if traveling tonight! @NWSWichita

At 12:30p in Lindsborg, it’s 2° with a 10pm N breeze making it feel like -15°. The intensity of the snow has picked up since this morning which is limiting visibility some, but thankfully the flakes are dry which means it’s blowing more than sticking. #kswx @NWSWichita

At 9:30am in Lindsborg, it’s 4° with 10-15mph NNE breeze contributing to a -15° windchill. We’re seeing some very light flurries that are filling in the gaps on the sidewalk, but nothing else substantial at this early point. #kswx @NWSWichita

That faith has led the senior and second ranked Lopers to a regional tournament in Kearney. “We’re playing for something bigger – for our families, for each other, for the community, for the little girls who look up to us. We want to show them what’s possible.”
