@Pontifex And for your lifeblood I will require a reckoning: from every beast I will require it and from man. From his fellow man I will require a reckoning for the life of man.

“Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image.”
Genesis 9

@JerryLeeBowyer @PLeithart It’s not “as Jesus dies” - but the sky does go dark during the crucifixion. (Day 4 - stars, sun and moon)

@drantbradley Meaningful local church membership is one major disconnect

@aaron_renn It’s also a double-edged sword: because illegal migrants use non-legal avenues of identity, employment, housing, etc… they are much more likely to be exploited. And what recourse do they have?

The best protection for citizens and for migrants is robust immigration reform.

@PFTCommenter They literally said ND had head-to-head over Miami. Embarrassing

@lsv That is a great RG Delirium deck. Super on-board with some premium interaction.

It’s great this format can have powerful decks like this (all on board, not a ton of card advantage) as well as powerful Room and Eerie decks that grind you out with combos or massive card advantage.

“You don’t have to abandon your faith” (to endorse termination of life in the womb). Kamala Harris

Yes, Madam Vice President, you do.

[13] For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
[14] I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.

Psalm 139:13-14

@jrwhitehead Absolutely. I would add “polity” as well.

Many non-denoms are “elder-ruled” polity vs pastor- or elder-led congregational polity.

[Peter Leithart @PLeithart]

Eve gave fruit to Adam and he ate and died. Jael gave curds to Sisera, who ate and was killed.

Jael is a greater Eve who overcomes a serpent with food. She's the prototype of a later Eve who shares the head-crushing victory of the last Adam.
