The JKAS statistically results endorse almost every single word that I uttered on behalf of my party, in the Assembly. I had given statistical presentations earlier on the Facebook. The statistical projections almost overlap.

The single biggest problem in reservations still remains in not understanding the structural issues.

I will repeat, it is a problem of regional imbalance, perpetuated by an extremely unfair and biased reservation policy.

As long as we do not properly diagnose the disease and accept the disease as it exists, no remedy is possible.

There are some imperatives if there has to be a way forward.

First, a government with some spine.

Second, a government which can use the resources and information at its disposal to conduct research and examine and analyse the empirical evidence. They can do a scientific comparative analysis and come up with data backed conclusions detailing which region has been wronged. Governments especially in trying times like when we are a UT, can’t base their recommendations on gossip.

Third, a government and a polity which has the intellectual capability to understand the inherent structural imbalances, based on regionalism.

Trump told the world he would end wars, not start them. Today he has begun what his own officials describe as "not a small strike" but weeks-long sustained operations. The hypocrisy is staggering.

The paper may be over, but let’s not pretend..neither the LG, nor the CM, nor even the LoP had any real authority. The entire political show was played over one simple demand: age relaxation in the JKPSC CCE. Yes, the youth lost today… but don’t mistake that for your victory because you didn’t win either.
If aspirants looked helpless, it’s because even the government and the LG appeared powerless in front of the JKPSC Chairman. The exam was conducted not out of responsibility, but by taking advantage of the desperation of those pleading for age relaxation. No thought was given to their struggles, their flight issues, their uncertainty..nothing. Their anxiety was ignored as if it didn’t matter.
And I’m done blaming the govt, the CM, the LG, or the LoP. They claimed to support age relaxation, yet none of them had the strength to make it happen. Maybe the JKPSC Chairman deserves their positions because at least he stands firm for what he wants, unlike leaders who speak in favour of youth but fail to act when it counts.
Today, the youth were defeated. But the system didn’t win.
Only helplessness did and that is the most painful truth….

Instead of indulging in petty politics in this dual power centre, LOP Sunil Sharma should use his energy to exert pressure on Lok Bhawan.

Its simple and clear:
1.Relaxation must be granted.
2.Exams must be postponed.

This is the unanimous view of the elected government and every single person in the National Conference.

Anything beyond this from anyone else is a lie or mere whataboutery.
