StatsCan reports a 2.8% yr/yr increase in consumer prices in April, up from 1.8% in February, led by higher gasoline and other petroleum products. The worst is yet to come, however, as the Strait of Hormuz remains closed. We project 4% or higher soon: https://t.co/RnXJpJJt9b /2

Grateful to have the support of Nanaimo-Duncan District Labour Council (@nddlc_labour). Workers and unions across the country are joining our movement to bring the NDP to working class communities from coast to coast to coast!
Leadership should unite Canadians, not divide us to protect profits at the top.
It’s time for real nation-building again. Projects that connect us coast to coast to coast, create good jobs, lower everyday costs and our emissions.
That’s how we build a stronger, more affordable, more united Canada.
I’m honoured to have the endorsement of the @SteelworkersCA, the largest private-sector union in Canada. Together we will rebuild this party for the working class and protect workers from sector to sector to sector.
How do you scare the ruling class? By organizing a movement that can fight them - and win.
We’re hosting a National Organizing call on November 30th at 3PM and we need you, and your friends there!
