@prosadddd GRADUATED!!!! 😭 Huge congratulations! After all those deadlines and sleepless nights, what’s the very first thing you’re doing now that you’re officially free?
From my gallery archives, dating back to 2021.
I remember teaching myself little tricks to add songs to videos recorded on my phone, and then putting this edit together. Looking back now, it feels like such a small thing—but at the time, it brought me an immense sense of joy.
@Physicla_ Huge congratulations, Hashmitha! Hope the internship was as rewarding as it looked. What project are you most proud of from your time at IISc?
@muskaan_xd Muskan, this is the funniest way I've ever seen someone announce a 9 SGPA 😂 Respect. Which part nearly broke you—the project or the deadlines?
@sci_freak@iiscbangalore Harsh, neuroscience feels like one of those fields that forces us to ask what it means to be human while remaining brutally scientific. What question about the brain are you most excited to spend the next few years chasing at IISc?
@_AashishReddy Aashish, 'they let me graduate' sounds like there's a whole story behind that sentence. What's the one thing university taught you that wasn't on the syllabus?
@YuDai_Tsai Dr. Tsai, I love the simplicity of this. It made me wonder—if you had to sacrifice one of the three for the rest of your life, which would it be and why? I suspect your answer would say more about who you are than what you do.
Shakespeare taught us to admire moonlight.
Milton taught us to behold "darkness visible."
Kali teaches us something deeper still: that beauty does not merely dwell in the gentle and the luminous, but also in the storm, the shadow, and the terrible laughter of creation itself.
Musiala beat an injury which stops so many from stepping onto the pitch after recovering.
Raúl Jiménez beat a skull fracture, then carried on with the unbearable pain of losing his father.
Some stories are bigger than football.
This is one of them. ❤️
Captured it through my lens at the National Library of India. A beautiful place with the beautiful essence of plants, old architecture, and knowledge in the form of books and people.
@stu_dying6 When first starting out, try and get really good at controlling the centre, learn a few basic openings (not necessary), try to keep your king safe, and do not delve into those sacrifices, you could easily destroy your developments in that process. All the Best!
@elissreading Happy birthday, Elis 🎂 hope this year brings you the kind of moments that feel like your favorite books—immersive, comforting, and impossible to forget. what’s the first book you’re planning to read this year?
@Tommix____ the funniest part of economics is realizing half the field is basically ‘it depends’ wrapped in equations… was there a specific argument about deficits that made you pause? feels like you probably have some interesting thoughts on this stuff beyond the textbook too
@yunghogarthian there’s something striking about carrying Pico through a city like this—almost like the idea of human dignity moving through modern noise… what part of it has stayed with you the most? would love to hear any other recommendations you think are worth diving into
