Boss saw my #CreativeResistanceBook today&exclaimed "Wow,you really take #craftivism seriously, don't you?" Why yes,yes I do. She also ❤️s @TheClaireHooper's quote "The craft room is the new war bunker & Sayraphim is its field marshal." You can find it here https://t.co/Y9HO23lzWk
"This medication is illegal to provide to a transgender person, but legal to provide to a person who is not transgender"
If this ban was about lack of safety of the drugs, they would be banned for all children.
This is targetted discrimination based on trans status.
@hughriminton I am a Pacific Islander.
When Lismore flooded my people jumped into the raging waters, busted down windows & doors and helped rescue aged care residents from certain death.
Can they stay too?
The Cass Review is going to conclude there is no evidence in favour of puberty blockers or even HRT, because they put an ideologically motivated person in charge of research who advocates for 'exploratory therapy' instead, and she just threw away 98% of the studies.
I'm not moralizing about the story; I'm just so tired of movies romanticizing the abusive relationship instead of seeing the much better and more interesting story of Harley post-Joker that we saw in BoP and James Gunn's The Suicide Squad.
In a post-Birds of Prey world (and hell, even before it), can we please, for the love of god, stop romanticizing the Joker and Harley Quinn's relationship?
If you have a problem with the word queer, I suggest you don’t use it to describe yourself. But the rest of us have the right to use it to describe ourselves however we like.
Also kids, it’s called Queer Studies. You’re welcome.
Two things.
1. Trans women are inspo for all women - breaking through barriers for all of us.
2. Trans girls need role models too. Especially when you can’t be what you can’t see.
So thank you @GoldsmithsSU for showcasing these amazing women.

As a Two Spirit, Indigiqueer, and Native trans woman, I am outraged that one of our own was unalived due to the transmisia and xenophobia that is kept alive in hostile areas of our country. Our sibling, Nex, was a victim of that hate. There is no question that it was hate driven.
While ultimately entertaining, you need to understand that we're the ones that now have to explain to our boss memes like this, why everyone is talking about a fruit, what Minions are, and what the word phallic means.
the last line in this article brought me to tears: “nex had a light in them that was so big, they had so many dreams. i want their light to keep shining for everyone. that light was so big and bright and beautiful, and i want everyone to remember nex that way.”
this baby deserved better. trans children deserve trans futures. and it is on us to make sure that nex did not die in vain by standing up and speaking out now to save other trans children from this fate.
@lingerie_addict How good would that be? Aspiring museum professionals get their work on display in museums (gotta be attributed of course), museums get shitty panels like this fixed, and the world is a slightly better place for everyone.
@lingerie_addict If I was your teacher, I'd run an exercise on rewriting this kind of terrible panel. And then, because I'm not employed as an acedemic, I'd be emailing the museum and sending them all across. To show them how to write a panel that actually addresses problematic items like this
