I scale 8-fig, 9-fig supplement brands with advertorials, VSLs, & ads. Creative Strategist. DR copywriter.
Follow me for insights on #copywriting#marketing
Copywriters, I happen to dug up a 90-minute recording I did for my mastermind session last year.
It’s a live breakdown of a real sales page that converted cold traffic for a high-ticket offer.
Including why a $19K funnel produced zero sales... and the one positioning shift that made cold prospects pull out their cards without a single sales call.
It’s a masterclass in cold traffic copywriting and storyselling.

As a Creative Strategist, I have one main goal: Turn your ad account from a guessing game into a consistent growth system.
Because when there's a clear creative strategy driving decisions, the editors, UGC creators, and designers** all do sharper work. Direction breeds quality.
And that's what I bring to the table. Let's connect?

@YoussefEcom If you're scaling and creative feels like it’s **always chaos**, then let's talk @YoussefEcom. Sent you a DM.
I'm hungry and can be dangerous for brand's competitors :)

"We already tested listicles. They didn't convert."
I hear this from DTC and supplement brand owners all the time.
And every time, I ask them the same thing:
Did you run a survey before writing those listicles?
Did you actually ask your buyers what almost stopped them from purchasing?
The answer is almost always no.
And that's the whole problem why your listicles don't convert.
Because a listicle that converts cold traffic shouldn't be built from a brainstorm session or guesswork.
It should be built from the exact doubts, hesitations, and objections that were already sitting in your buyer's head right before they hit the buy button.
So here's what I'd do before writing a single word.
1. Run a customer survey.
2. Collect responses for 2 to 3 weeks. Or until the same 3 to 5 objections keep showing up again and again.
3. Turn those objections into your listicle headlines.
Each reason gets its own section. And each section follows the same flow:
> Highlight the problem.
> Show why that problem exists.
> Demonstrate how the product fixes it (mechanism), and why other similar solutions failed (USP)
Then translate that into the benefit the customer actually cares about.
Keep each section short. Clear. Easy to read.
Then give them a real offer. Give them a real reason to act now. And make the urgency obvious.
That's how I'd approach a listicle for cold traffic.
Not by pulling angles out of thin air.
But by building it around the exact reasons people almost didn't buy.
How about you?
I made a MASSIVE MISTAKE when I started trying to get more VSL clients.
I thought I could just reach out cold, pitch VSLs, and close deals.
Didn’t work.
It took me hundreds of emails and DMs to realize why.
The problem wasn’t outreach.
It was the offer I was leading with.
In today’s email, I break down the mistake, what I changed, and the simple shift that made it easier to get more replies, close clients faster, and open the door to bigger projects.
And the best part?
You can apply this shift to your own offer right away.
Whether you're a copywriter or a coach if you’re struggling to close clients, today’s email will help.

How to write advertorials that predictably convert (A stupidly simple 2-min hack that nobody does!)
1. Pull your top-performing Meta ads (CTR + CVR winners, not vanity stuff).
2. Identify the angle behind it (the real question people were trying to answer).
3. Turn that angle into a keyword.
4. Open Google Keyword Planner and check: is there actual demand?
5. If yes → write the advertorial as the best answer on the internet to that exact question.
For instance...
Let’s say your best Meta ad is basically: “Magnesium glycinate or magnesium citrate… which one should I take for sleep?”
Your advertorial should answer that question in the most edutaining way possible.
And you only commit if Keyword Planner shows people are already searching it.
This is keyword testing. It’s stupid simple.
And for some reason, nobody does it.
P.S. Just finished an advertorial for a supplement brand and thought I should share this tip before I deep dive into my next blockbuster campaign 📷
