They did have a place that sold hamburgers and pizza but I couldn't afford to go to that little shop. And they wouldn't let you get food like that anyway. I asked back then.

Luckily in the school I was in, I used to ask the cashier if I could get a plate of food and pay the next day. That lunch lady was excellent because she would always say yes. I would go home and scrounge up change to make sure I paid her back. I’m sure she did that for a lot of kids.

I’m not about to put my life on the line against someone with a gun. Especially for someone I don’t know. I would call the police and hope they would make it on time to help. 🥺🫣
