I know it's not April 1st but I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this. A three legged #GreenSandpiper Obviously a freak of nature but I imagine very rare. Taken at #LangfordLakes Wiltshire 22/08/25. Shot in Raw format.
This is KITTLITZ’S MURRELET! one of my main targets on our boat trip out of Seward Alaska. It likes to feed near the glacial melt waters close to the ice. We had some great views along with Rhinoceros Auklets and Ancient Murrelets! with @a1virginia
The Two Black-Winged Stilts at Seaton Wetlands was a nice end to the weekend. They both showed well for the constant trickle of birders. Thank you to the finder.

Today ,on the rare occasion of me doing a sea watch at Portland Bill,l was just about to give up and go home when this Night Heron flew in and landed on the Pulpit Rock. Amazing.
11th March 2025: a typical Bittern fly-past from the Bittern Hide @RSPBMinsmere this morning, shown here at half normal speed... blink and you will probably miss it!
