Launching water balloons at school is a no-no, unless you're an 8th grader in algebra. Students timed how long a water balloon stayed in air calculating the initial velocity of the water balloon. Talk about a great use of the equation: h = -16t2 + vt + s! #mathsoars #mathinflight
