Xcel Energy is reporting just shy of 3,400 customers are without power in Southern Sioux Falls area. According to Xcel's Website, the eta for restoration is around 7:30pm. No reports of causes at this time.

Starting to see a lot of Rootless Corn Syndrome (floppy corn) in southern South Dakota resulting in leaning plants, drought symptoms and nutrient deficiency. High soil temps and drought conditions aren’t allowing nodal roots to develop. Will need rain to correct this issue.
