Learning that I’m no longer invincible this year. I can no longer recover from injuries as fast and have to make sure the foods I eat won’t irritate my stomach. My college self would be disappointed. She’d have cup noodles and coffee for breakfast, and have an 8 hour workout day.

sPHENIX commissioning has been quite the experience. I found myself thinking “Oh this is way over my head. Im sure my advisor can figure it out next week when he’s here” multiple times and then turning that thought into “oh I guess I know it now and it’s done!” the next day.
