Felt rather ironic that just after Boris announced his resignation yesterday I then came across this in the stocktake🤪 #Boris

@julianaurelius Just wanted to let you know that our Shadowing group absolutely loved #TsunamiGirl and we were rooting for you and Chie to win the @CILIPCKG Carnegie medal 2022 as it was our group's favourite this year ♥️

[School Librarian @SchoolLibraria6]

@JL_Horan7 @CILIPCKG Thanks yes we have tried some of the activities on the website, some worked well. Just wondered if anyone else had anymore general ones that may work? Will look into who our regional judge is, thanks!

[School Librarian @SchoolLibraria6]

Has anyone running #CarnegieShadowing found any overall group activities that have worked particularly well? Finding it hard at the moment as we only have a few copies of each book so we have all read different books and I like to include a big group activity each week(20 pupils)

So excited to watch more Heartstopper episodes tonight #Heartstopper I love my job as School Librarian- I get the excuse to read (and watch!) loads of fabulous YA fiction😍 @AliceOseman

[School Librarian @SchoolLibraria6]

@lucasjmaxwell I thought Heartstopper was popular before - this is now on a a whole new level since the netflix series was released last week!

[School Librarian @SchoolLibraria6]

@lucasjmaxwell I have seen a lot of support from fellow school Librarians on FB. I ordered a selection of Simon's books for our Library and made a LGBTQ+ display for a number of weeks in solidarity but always more we can be doing to help promote diversity in schools.

Is it Easter break yet?! Today is going incredibly slowly... I might have to put aside some Carnegie Shadowing reading time this afternoon...😉

Hope everyone has a lovely break, especially those of you, like me, only break up today! 🥱

[School Librarian @SchoolLibraria6]

@lucasjmaxwell Such a great idea!

[School Librarian @SchoolLibraria6]

@suzey_breckon @abidare_author This book is brilliant! I read this in my Book Club just before it was published as part of BBC2 Radio Bookclub, but they shelved our recording at the last minute as it was the evening lockdown was announced 🥲 Would LOVE to win a copy for our school library😍

[Suzey @suzey_breckon]

Giveaway time - I have a copy of this amazing novel by @abidare_author for one lucky reader 🎉🎉🎉 To enter retweet and follow me (tag a friend for an extra entry). UK only - closes Friday 15th 6pm 🤩
