We were delighted to welcome a film crew to our school recently, with our Year 6 pupils taking part in a special feature about the 1940 evacuation from Lowestoft to Glossop.
It’s due to air on BBC One’s The One Show on Monday 30th March at 7pm — we can’t wait to watch!

📍 Whitfield St James @SchoolWsj (Derbyshire): Thursday 23rd April
📍 Argyle Primary (London): Thursday 30th April

Join us for these half-day, morning events and see how mainstream Champion Schools successfully use both the core and SEND programmes to teach children with SEND to read.

Our Glossop Book Hunt has begun!
It's the Year of Reading, so our head pupils went and hid 6 books across Glossop today!
The books have been hidden in different locations around the town – each with a book ready to be read and shared. Watch the video for clues! @LettersSounds
