@bluenightfringe@TealTongueTakes@balogun@KingJames Whatever chicanery might have been involved, the decision to reinstate Balogun corrected an egregious red card. Balogun has nothing to be sorry for, and U.S. fans should be grateful he played with a talent and heart we desperately needed throughout the tournament.
@balogun@KingJames You were awesome, champ. Your electric play and passion brought excitement and hope to the fans. Would be an honor to get to watch you again next time!
@NFL_DovKleiman I mean you can’t really see the pain he’s in, but I’m sure it’s there given he’s dedicated himself to the team and city for 5+ years and it’s over now.
@dennissports5@PhilMackey Yeah, risking your franchise quarterback with a pre-existing injury is what you do when you are tanking. Just give the Vikes credit on this one. This Commanders team was a play away from taking down Denver last week with their backup QB.
@adampatrickNFL If he balls out the last 5 games it would definitely matter. Why wouldn’t they want to feel vindicated in their draft choice and QB decisions? The whole organization and fan base would be walking on air if that was the end to this season. Come on, you know this.
@WillRagatz I think he’s shown enough flashes of playmaking to be optimistic. He’s also 2-2 and 2-0 in division. You could do a lot worse as a 22 year old QB with 4 games under your belt. Needs to clean up the mistakes but I expect he will.
@lacreshahall@nicolefallonNY@exisdential I think the therapist should be able to read the situation and determine if the patient seems to want to say hello, while mindful of confidentiality. I personally wouldn’t make a comment about it. Also, any accidental run-in and its impact on the patient is material for therapy.
@Christo_Vox@alec_lewis One touchdown pass was to Aaron jones, and the other to Jefferson was a dart to where only Jefferson could catch it. He made a number of strong throws in that game.
@nicolefallonNY@exisdential What if the therapist just warmly acknowledged you? Obviously they shouldn’t be imposing on whatever you are doing, but if you recognize someone in passing, you can acknowledge them with a warm smile or a hello without this being a frame violation.
@TheRealForno Right but the implication Dr. Chao is making is that McCarthy’s performance when he was playing is factoring into the decision to continue sitting him, under the pretense of it being 100% a health issue.
@CFBBluePrint Yeah it looks like a similar hit to how he tore his Achilles in the first place. I respect that he was pissed. You can pat your QB on the back instead of throwing 300lbs onto him.
@The_Oddsmaker My bad… I guess I portmanteau’d two of them. Michael Pittman and Kevan Barlow. Let’s just throw Tyrone Wheatley in there for good measure.
