R0 is finally on Steam. It's been a wild journey. I'll have more to say when I have time, but for now, please look forward to it!
R0, unlike a lot of other games in its genre, doesn't intend to let go just because you've experienced the game once. Come back to New Game+ and purchase the right to change the way the random number generator works for some very fascinating challenge runs.
There's still much left to work on but the game is, in fact, nearing completion and once the story rewrites are in, I do plan on sending out beta copies to certain groups, so hopefully soon, you will finally start seeing the fruits of this three year long labor.
It's definitely been tough grappling with a few forms of mental illness and trauma while developing R0. Progress has been slow, but steady, and here's a few things in the works as far as that progress goes.
Scenarios. Just because the story is over doesn't mean there isn't more plot to uncover. What about an alternatime timeline where Laelynn entered a tournament? Finding out what truly happened behind the scenes? Or maybe an epilogue centered around a mysterious member of the army.
A good shop UI is vital to a game with any sort of important inventory management that includes purchasing. It's not much different from before, but it's a lot more readable.
I'm having some writers do passes over the story too so you will get a story that is absolutely worth investing into, I promise. Among others, there will be plenty of reasons to keep coming back.
Been a while, hasn't it? I've been grossly busy with real life shenanigans but progress is still ongoing, if slow. Take a look at the convoy management screen; The eyes of your army are upon you as you reorganize your armaments for coming battle ahead.
