@doomsdayslam @TMTLongShort yes, once you go down the path of weaponized reproducing robots. It is 10000x nukes. If Europe perceives that to be the case, they either enable and anchor to USA. Or put a halt to it unless they are in consideration for partnership. It may be a realistic scenario?

@TMTLongShort Not having Anthropic doesn’t mean you don’t have access to intelli, just not the “best”. The path I suggested we may end up going down (globally) isn’t conducive to the development of alt AI tbf. Is it winner takes all in current state? Can rest of world get by w Qwen or mistral

@TMTLongShort We all know how much of the us compute supply depends on foreign product. If the US thinks they can hoard the ownership of AI and destroy foreign service sectors, without retaliation that’s foolish. Then ASML only exports to China, by EU mandate.
