Hi all,
Now that we’ve finally reached our goal and have no staff over the age of 35 on permanent contracts, we have decided to go even further and reduce this to 30 over the next two years. We have unblocked the Times Ed website so you can all start to apply elsewhere.
Thanks x
Huge thanks to our incredible students, hardworking teachers, staff, and SLT for your tireless energy. You’ve earned every second of this break!

Assessment isn’t a post-mortem. It’s the lifeblood of teaching. Specify what counts, teach it, check it, fix it. Stop sorting, start teaching. Make 100% possible for everyone.

Thank you so much for the letter received today, however, it might have been better delivered to the people that live in the area to which it relates. I live in Leighton Buzzard, but the letter was addressed to The Occupier, etc , Flitwick!
Unbelievable!!!
Hi all,
I've just heard from our Literacy Coordinator, Mrs Johnson, that the SEND Literacy Club had a terrible time at the Reading Festival last week. Apparently, it was just noisy music and not a book in sight. She has written a strongly worded letter of complaint.

Hi all new SLT members,
On the first day there will be extra CPD on how to act like a Senior leader. You already have the blue suits and brown shoes but now you need the skills. The first lesson is learning to say “myself” instead of “me” and “yourself” instead of “you”.
Thanks x
To all our amazing students who collected their exam results: Congratulations on your fantastic achievements! Your hard work has truly paid off. We wish you all the very best on your next steps and every success in the journey ahead! @ChilternLT@mjpGibbs@Umara1Qureshi

A huge thank you to Kerry for delivering another incredibly valuable session to our Middle Leaders today on de-escalation and emotion coaching. We're so grateful for your expertise and time! 🙏 #EmotionCoaching@ChilternLT@mjpGibbs@Umara1Qureshi
A huge thank you to all of our wonderful invigilators! 💖 It was an absolute pleasure to invite you in for coffee and cake to show our appreciation after such a busy exam season. We couldn't do it without you! @ChilternLT@mjpGibbs@Umara1Qureshi

What a fantastic Sports Day! From three-legged races and dress-up relays to football, dance, and badminton, we had it all. So much fun and laughter, perfectly topped off with ice cream! Huge thanks to all our students who cheered each other on from the shade!
Hi all,
We are just about finished with next year’s timetable. We thought that we had it perfect but then Mr Johnson, from Maths, pointed out that there were no Maths lessons on it. To solve this, you’re all teaching maths and losing two PPAs in September. Oh, and RE.
Thanks x
