‘Twas the night before the election, when all through the house
The GOP was was stirring, as was Pelosi, the louse;
The ballots were marked by the voters with care,

When on CNN there arose such a clatter,
We sprung from the couch to see what was the matter.
Away to Twitter we flew like a flash,
Scrolled post after post to get the scoop in a dash.
The red on the states showing what many would know
Gave the sense of a victory delivering blow after blow,
When, what to our wondering eyes should appear,
But Fox News calling states early for Kamala as our eyes shed a tear, 
With a little old Biden, so lethargic and sick,
We knew in a moment it must be trick.
More rapid than they cheated their celebrities they came,
And they whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;
"Now, Diddy! now, Cardi! now, LeBron and Obama!
On, Clooney! on, Michelle! on, Cuban and yo Mama!
To the names on the laptop! to the borders with no wall!
Now go away! go away! go away all!"…..

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the screen
The cheering and chanting like nothing I’ve seen
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Out walked Trump and then Vance and I turned up the sound
They were dressed all in MAGA, from their head to their toes,
And their love for America was showing from their feet to their nose;
They were clapping and dancing like a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw them, in spite of myself;
In PA a wink of Trump’s eye and a turn of his head
Is what saved him from Democrats that hoped he would be dead;
After that he continued to speak, and went straight to his work,
And showed all the people the mainstream media is the jerk,

And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the polls he rose;
He sprang into action one rally after another,
And JD’s interviews impressed fathers and even some mothers.
But I heard Trump exclaim, as he drove out of sight -

“Happy VOTING to all, and remember to FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT."
