NEWS: Less than 1% of EV owners switch back to gas-powered cars after making the purchase, according to a new Global EV Driver Survey, which includes over 23,000 people from 18 countries.

"Reports of declining EV popularity are greatly exaggerated,” says Petter Haugneland, Assistant Secretary General of The Norwegian EV Association.

Results show that lower operating costs are the most important motivation for buying an EV. “This should serve as an eye-opener for policymakers worldwide. While a vibrant electric vehicle market is crucial for reducing climate emissions from road transport, achieving this goal hinges on making EVs an even more affordable option for all,” says Ellen Hiep, board member of the Dutch Electric Vehicle Drivers Association.

🚨 VOYAGER 1: STILL OUTPERFORMING YOUR PHONE BATTERY AT 47

NASA has revived Voyager 1, 15.4 billion miles away, after a glitch left the spacecraft silent for weeks.

The issue? A heater mishap caused it to switch to a weaker transmitter.

Engineers fixed it, and communication resumed Nov. 18.

Running on decaying plutonium, Voyager’s four instruments operate colder than a freezer but keep sending data.

Launched in 1977, it’s explored Jupiter, Saturn, and beyond, now coasting through interstellar space like the ultimate mic drop.
