Feeling a bit nervous about this one, but come along if you are free and keen to hear some science comedy!
This is part of a program run by @ScienceTalksAU which I highly recommend!

🤩 Wish you were a more captivating, engaging speaker? 🤩
Don't miss our conversation with journalist & master storyteller David Crisante, from @ScienceTalksAU.
David shared his passion for comedy, and gave us great public speaking tips along the way.

The FANCIEST room I’ve ever spoken in 🫢 I had the pleasure of opening the debate for @ScienceTalksAU on the affirmative for the topic “AI will destroy humanity”. A bit outside my usual repertoire but our team secured the win 🏆
Visiting the @abchobart for a chat about Australia’s coolest, deep, and meaningful reefs and how to use comedy to engage with a wider audience.

It was fantastic to join Emille Boulot & @ScienceTalksAU to speak with #KylieBaxter at #ABCRadioHobart
I spoke about our deep reef research, why Tassie reefs are awesome, and how comedy can be used as a tool to communicate with a wider audience.

Last night I got to fulfil my childhood dream: Performing at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival!
I had such a blast presenting my research to our massive and supportive audience. Huge thanks to @ScienceTalksAU for organising the event and the extensive comedy training.
Well that was a wild ride.
10 minutes at the Melbourne international comedy festival on my science. One of the hardest but most rewarding experiences associated with my science I’ve done!
Huge thanks to @ScienceTalksAU!
