This afternoon, Y4HU explored the relationship between distance and sound by creating string telephones. The sound vibrations pass along the string and can be heard by the other person.
Today in Science, we have been planning our investigation. We planted our seeds and placed one pot on the window sill and one pot in the cupboard. We made sure we carried out a fair test. #woodfoldscience
Today in Science, we have been planning and setting up our scientific investigation. We have decided the question that we are investigating is ‘What do plants need to survive and stay healthy?’
On Monday we welcomed @stmariessch@St_Wilfrids_CE@WoodFoldPrimary Year 5 students to @StandishCHS to present their findings from their Science Week investigations. The students were amazing - it is not easy to stand in front of your peers and other schools and speak.
We have arrived at Jodrell Bank and are looking forward to a day of exciting activities - we will take lots of photographs but are unable to post them until we leave Jodrell Bank as devices need to be set to flight mode. We will post them as soon as we can @NHarmerclass
In science this week the children have been learning all about plants and what they need to grow. We have planted our own seeds in school so we can watch each stage of its growth 🪴.
