@mrunalnkulkarni @hippo_campy All I am saying is, with all that's happening around us, this innocent word doesn't deserve a debate or unlearning... it has a new meaning now, that's inclusive of everyone. We could just accept that.

@mrunalnkulkarni @hippo_campy You must check the dictionary... Today the word has evolved ( like most words across languages) . Just because etymologically it has a male origin, are we shallow enough to unlearn the word? Those who do use this word, uses it in the present day context, which is gender neutral.

@RamanSpoorthy I wish I had a scientific answer to this. But years of being in a family that practised Ayurveda has rubbed off on me. While I do not believe in everything that I hv been told, some things made sense to me (scientific possibility) & I chose to believe them... IMD is one of those.
