When all of that failed they tried to assassinate him not once but four times.

And they go on national television to talk about how we need to vote for them to save democracy.

I have lived the last 6 days vastly differently than those before. Most of the people I know and work with are expressing the same.

There's a common bond in the brokenness since Charlie's assassination. But there's also a common bond in the fire it's lit in us to be better people. To work just that much harder. To love that much deeper. To seek Christ more earnestly. To be better spouses, parents, friends and siblings.

There's a heart-shift I've seen in the last week in everyone from the heights of power down to everyday Americans. It gives me hope. Charlie has changed everything. I for one am not going back to how I lived before. I suspect many more won't either.

This could be a recipe for generational change, revival, and the renewal of America.

Let us pray as if it depends on God, but work as if it depends on us.

@kare11 I don’t understand why it is so hard for people to understand that only law abiding citizens will follow gun laws. Criminals will then have more destructive weapons than the good people. Help me understand how that makes any sense?
