@SpikeEskin Most, if not everyone, complaining about not kicking the FG would be the same people ripping him if he had kicked it and they lost 24-23…which is most likely what would’ve happened
@TommyKelly44 Why bother arguing w/them.
If they kick a FG there then their absolute best chance to win after that is MAYBE a long Elliot FG in bad weather…yes, he made one earlier, but field conditions were worse later in the game.
Green goggles to think they even move the ball that far
@WalkWithLyle@SportsPhilly40@JohnKincade The same exact people complaining about it would be criticizing him for kicking the FG after they lost 24-23. Was terrible execution tho, as far as play call and not getting the timeout
@WalkWithLyle@SportsPhilly40@JohnKincade Agree. FG only puts you up 13 and gives them the ball with much better field position after the kickoff. Their best chance was icing the game right then n there and/or forcing LA to go 98 yards for one of their inevitable TDs. We all knew the Eagles weren’t scoring again
@mbonit10@JoshReynolds24 Going to 3rd on a grounder behind you is the right decision, but it seemed like he paused…combine that w/him being super slow and he’s out by a mile. Should’ve been a much closer play than that.
@JohnStolnis For those sayin it’s the right read because the ball could’ve been caught, it’s NOT. With a runner behind u on 1st taggin up is not priority there, ensuring you and the runner behind u score if the ball drops is, therefore he needs to go halfway so they both can score
@BrianKirwin@JohnStolnis They could’ve won if they ran properly.
Bohm was way too conservative and Marsh was way too aggressive/careless. It’s not a bad luck thing where fans are using 20/20 hindsight, it’s bad ‘by the book’ baseball.
@DWolfRVA@JohnStolnis Totally incorrect baserunning. It was not a routine fly ball, so therefore the baserunner needs to go halfway to 3rd and watch the play from there. Especially with a runner behind him on 1st. They both should’ve walked into home on that.
@Rabbits_Cards@JohnStolnis No it’s not. Not even hindsight at all, baseball 101 says you go halfway to third to see if it’s caught. He and Stott should’ve both scored easily.
@JohnKincade@Eagles Exactly. Soon as Carter blocked that first PAT I said the Eagles only chance of winning was if McDermott mistakenly goes for 2 on their next TD and Birds win 13-12. Play for the tie and win in OT…the Eagles were not scoring. Oh well, benefited us
@jelynchjr Feels like they’re going to dig such a deep hole in the standings that they’re then going to have to play “all out” w/playoff intensity just to get into the play-in. Thus, they’ll be banged up again and w/out home court for the playoffs
@975TheFanatic@asalciunas975@ConnorThomas975@JohnKincade No.
Any win, especially in the division, is a good win, but regardless of the opponent the NFL is week to week. A lot of teams/players are consistently inconsistent. We’ll see what next week brings
@FOS @HoopMixOnly Gave the W a chance and enjoyed it for the most part, but as a neutral fan, last night tarnished a great season/series. Poorly played n officiated. Lynx choked and got robbed at the same time. Stewie blatantly walks then gets bailed out with a bs call to force OT…terrible game
@kamila_wbb Not just a flop, she tried to drag her down with her…wasn’t strong enough. I’m a CC fan, she’s extremely good, but she gives as good as she gets
