🚨🚨THIS IS CHEATING🚨🚨
THE #SPURS JUST INTENTIONALLY GOAL-TENDED ON A SHOT BY THE #KNICKS THAT WAS CLEARLY GOING IN.
THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST CALLS OF ALL TIME AND IT SEEMS LIKE THE REFS ARE INTENTIONALLY SCREWING NEW YORK.
NOT NORMAL.
The Knicks are officially 11-0 at Madison Square Garden when my son Leo is in the arena.
I’d like to announce that I’m making the ultimate sacrifice and bringing our good luck charm tonight at these ridiculously expensive prices.
This isn’t just for me.
This is for New York. 🗽🏀
Thank me later.
#Knicks
Precisely zero people were calling for a suspension to be in imposed. That would’ve been ridiculous.
But it’s also ridiculous to pretend that wasn’t definitionally a Flagrant 1. It should’ve been adjudicated as such.
I don’t understand why it wasn’t.
If Brunson hadn’t kept his cool and had run up on Wemby, the refs would’ve snap called a tech on Jalen, reviewed the play & 100% have given Wemby a flagrant.
Instead, Brunson was a pro and Wemby gets to completely skate on it. Doesn’t seem right to me.
I think the officiating discussion on here this morning is a little overblown (Game 2 the officiating was egregious, last night the Knicks were fouling a ton)… with that said, I think it’s absolutely on the board that Wemby gets retroactively assessed a Flagrant 1 for the Brunson play, which would put him at 3 Flagrant Foul points, and one more would result in a suspension.
President Donald Trump is not expected to attend Game 4 of Knicks-Spurs in the NBA Finals on Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden due to scheduling conflicts and obligations, sources tell ESPN. Trump, a lifelong Knicks fan, watched the majority of Game 3 from a suite.
