@Carer49 Thinking of you & hoping you get answers to questions you seek that will hopefully result in meaningful change
Unfortunately the NHS Complaints process is not fit for purpose & urgently needs to be redesigned
Concerningly many in NHS try to cover-up & won't usually admit mistakes
@Carer49 Just popped up on my timeline & looks delicious, but I see you were a bit disappointed
You'll need to try new fish restaurant in Paisley sometime as been getting great reviews & they do crab cakes
Until end of September Sun~Tues in takeaway they've special offer ~all suppers £5

@Fionasstalker@BMAScotland @AndrewBuist17 @jackiebmsp@MartynDaySNP We need to urgently ⤴️ resources to #PrimaryCare if #GPs & others working in the community are to be able to deliver the standard of care that is needed to improve #NHS services here in 🏴 & in order to improve care & #patient outcomes
Recruitment & retention of GPs is essential
@Fionasstalker@BMAScotland @AndrewBuist17 @jackiebmsp@MartynDaySNP We need to question why #PrimaryCare is underfunded in🏴
as it deals w/ approx 90% of #NHS patient care yet when compared w/ hospital services Primary Care only receives approx 10% of #NHS funding
GP funds needs to be increased to 15~20% to provide adequate care in the community
@AndrewQuither@Fionasstalker@TheBMA @AndrewBuist17 I've was referred to a specialist service in #NHS England 22 months ago due to long waiting times & my care mismanaged here in Scotland!
I was seen v quickly on referral &
I've so far had to travel to London 12 times &Care from NHS England has been exemplary so far
#BBCSundayShow
@Fionasstalker@BBCRadioScot The delay being reviewed by hospital specialists unfortunately puts more pressure on to #GP services & poor outcomes
My Dad v sadly died as his hospital review appointments for his Crohn's was cancelled multiple times & as a result he developed complications & he died of sepsis
@Fionasstalker@BBCRadioScot I'm v fortunate to have a good GP but the hold-up is accessing hospital care
I've Crohn's Disease for >30 years & I'm normally seen by hospital Consultant 2~4 times a year for review but I was referred to another Gastroenterologist & told waiting time is 76 weeks!
#NHS#NHSCrisis
@BBCScotlandNews As someone who personally has been v poorly as result of multiple chronic infections & as some are believed to of been acquired in hospital, I'm v concerned regarding whether #NHS facilities are fit for purpose
It's concern NHS building projects are being built w/ numerous issues
@bbcquestiontime ..My Dad died aged 65 from complications & #sepsis due to same condition as his hospital appointments were multiply cancelled by #NHS managers who cancel return patients in order to prioritise new patients as #NHS waiting times for 1st appointments measured but NOT returns
#bbcqt
@bbcquestiontime ...I've multiple long-term conditions & also have a serious gastrointestinal condition for >35yrs & l'd usually be reviewed 2~4 times a year by #NHS#hospital consultant but concerningly currently been told it will be a minimum of 76 weeks before I'll next be reviewed...
