I have requested clarification on whether today’s call to shut non essential shops includes dedicated off-sales. Such businesses need to know if they can do home deliveries by remote order (I assume so) and click and collect uplifts from the shop, if this can be managed safely.

Phone ringing off the hook. To restate, my advice is to close now, as soon as is sensible. Let folk finish their one for the road and close up. Both @BorisJohnson and @NicolaSturgeon have made this clear. I do not give this advice lightly. Now is the time.
