ECHS graduate Alem Hadzic delivered a powerful speech during his graduation ceremony on May 16. Hadzic, who served as the 2024 Valedictorian, shared that his father passed away just one day before graduation. His speech moved the audience as he honored his father and explained his future goals. Me now I’m 40: “Thank you for the offer of a spare bed, but I’m going to drive three hours home to my own one instead”
Former WFAA anchor John Criswell, who helped originate our Wednesday's Child segment more than 40 years ago, has died. I grew up watching John and remember him as a warm and kind tv personality. Some of my colleagues here at the station call him a great guy. He was 83. 🙏🏼
