For a Kentucky governor, Andy Beshear sure hates being in Kentucky. In just the last two months, he’s campaigned out of state in at least 5 other states that we know of:

Iowa
South Carolina
New Hampshire
Alabama
Georgia

He still likes to pretend he isn’t outright running for president.

Oh, by the way, don't let government teachers fool you into believing they don't receive pay raises. The majority of states/school systems give raises each year to teachers simply for showing up year after year.

These annual increases are automatic and not based on and cannot be held back because of performance reviews.

Few, if any private companies give annual increases that are not based, at least in part, on performance.

And our raises don't always keep pace with cost of living either. #nced #ncpol

Something that’s been on my head and mind for the last week.

Had a 17 year old work for me last week (just a day job). He has a 14 year old girlfriend, and they have a 4 month old baby.

Don’t believe in abortion, praise God.

I asked how I could help and he asked for a job.

I don’t have any consistent work in that area. I have reached out to a few companies trying to help him get a job.

He lives in an area that was decimated by Obama’s war on coal. He has no family support as he moved out at 15 cause his parents are on drugs.

I’m looking for suggestions and ideas as to how we could help this young family.
