@INTSYS_Official English release on the virtual console, please 😅 I’ll settle for a remake as well 😉 Also, can’t have this without the one before it, obviously.
@DavidKPiano Your talks on state charts helped me grow a lot as a developer. XState is still my favorite JavaScript projects and I pretty much always use it in personal projects.
@sauceythenoodle The game is connected to 3 Houses but all Fire Emblem games are designed to be self contained; connections with past titles are going to be more like Easter eggs for the most part.
Everyone has to have a first Fire Emblem, this looks like a great one to be that for you.
@AvengerMags Assuming you don’t need to play the other stories, I imagine it mainly just spikes the difficulty, changes the ending(s), and locks additional content/characters (aside from the 4 obvious ones).
@NintendoAmerica Extremely excited about the game. I was a little nervous with yet another Avatar protagonist but this actually looks well done; each main character, including the avatar, seems to have a fully fleshed out storyline.
@TikLikesChaiTea@NintendoUK Correct, the new game takes place in the same greater world as the continent of Fodlan. Fodlan’s history is also suggested to be connected with Dagda’s based on a lot of visual clues from the trailers
@GeorgeW34835308@flamingarc Buccaneer (?) has a burned out eye, he is wary of the collateral damage of facing the flames of revenge. Tiara has glasses, a classic visual cue for someone who is a bookworm in media. Her studying will help in many situations but her lack of experience may end up being an issue.
@GeorgeW34835308@flamingarc I think you’re right. I think we can infer some of them too. Bonaparte having an eye patch, could reflect that his vision is obscured partially because he is forbidden from reading and must rely on his memory. Fabio’s lazy eye could reflect his twisted vision of the world.
@flamingarc It certainly reads that way. I don’t want to get my hopes up yet in case that’s wrong though. Assuming there are class locked weapons, I’m concerned why the weapon triangle doesn’t seem to exist since the free weapons system would be a reason to exclude it.
@venom_cipher@olivecider776 Is that how it works? From what I can tell, each weapon has its own durability, so you can use as much combat arts as you want as long as the weapon allows it.
@PeaceDiaphin@FireEmblemJP It looks like it’s a hybrid system. Normal attacks don’t use durability but combat arts do. You can see this in each of the trailers and short videos where combat arts are chosen.
@Stealth40k I think people need to calm down a bit. I’m almost certain that the Sci-Fi aspect of this game will be revealed later on as a relevant part of the story. Sort of like when in 2 they visited the ground.
@VirgoDurai@Diamond_Aura_@AtlasMoth29660@NintendoAmerica I think most people are fine with the make your own unit part, it’s the sacrificing the story by centering things around your generic character without a real background or personality (or one which you don’t decide at all, thus defeating the purpose of an avatar’).
