I turned loose some birthday$ & ordered the Edward Study Bible. It sure is a work of beauty! From the inside cover and throughout the artwork is gorgeous, highlighting themes from Edward's works. I even enjoyed seeing the 🕷. IYKYK Thank you
@matt_everhard for this labor of love!
Reading the Bible isn’t the finish line.
The goal is to know Christ — and enjoy him.
Biblical meditation is fixing your mind on God’s truth until your heart is moved to worship, delight, and trust him.
Don’t settle for information. Come expecting transformation.

I go to Panera a lot b/c it's like the only place I can get a vegetarian salad. I always try to save a bit of the bread they give you so as to feed to the birds. I found some hungry seagulls the other day in Delaware to feed. Glad God can use me to help fulfill Luke 12:24.
Before Jurassic Park there was Dinosaur Land. After Jurassic Park there will still be Dinosaur Land. It's an institution and has been for quite a while here in the Shenandoah Valley!
Have you ever been to the world famous Virginia roadside attraction known as Dinosaurland? Sure they clearly copied the Disneyland logo but hey, it was 1963.
Some of the dinosaurs here are so old that you can’t even tell their dinosaurs and they’re like melting into the ground. But they also have a couple new ones and they’ve built throughout the years so it’s a nice little 30 minute walk.
The best part is that it is still under $10 per person, so there’s no reason not to stop if you’re in the Winchester area. but I will say you might just laugh when you go inside.😛🦖

Drawing Them In - England - New Documentary
"Drawing Them In" follows Pastor Robin Singleton and his church in the quaint market town of Loftus, England. These believers are striving to live out a distinct and compelling Christian witness through everyday ministry opportunities, including their “Grace Brew House.”
Pastor Robin shares:
“This is our Grace Brew House. It's our church cafe. We just wanted to be able to reach out to the local community and allow them to come in and meet Christians. And over the months and years, we have built up some really good relationships. And through the cafe, we've seen several people come through to other groups in the church, come to faith, be baptized, and become church members.”
“The work is the Lord’s and it’s for Him and for His glory. When we serve people, we’re doing it as if for Him, and we’re praying for opportunities as well, to speak to people about the Lord and His work.”

Last evening's sunset splendor from my porch. I was even able to capture the murmuration of birds as they circle in the nearby field as is their evening custom ...
I'm a bachelor the next few days as my wife is away with her cousin on a road trip. I'm going to do what I never get to do, watch a movie. We've never had cable satellite or Internet but we do have a DVD player. It will be neat to see some old favorites and a new one Ive not seen
@pleas_evans@PresbyXian Now there's one I haven't seen in a long time! I'll have to rent that one from the library in October when my wife goes away again! 😃
@pleas_evans I thought I would go with Kingdom of Heaven as I have not seen that one before. I checked it out from our local library recently . I've seen so many clips of it and I thought I would check it out.
