@NorCARepublican@AidanETexas@HowardKurtz So much of this story is republicans telling on themselves — assuming that everyone *must* act w the same bad faith that they do and then faking outrage when it suits them
@chrisfralic And don’t worry, the furor will be back. Just like the deficit. Remarkably we hear nothing about it when one party occupies the White House. And then,…
@DavidMortimer6@chrisfralic They saw it and knew it gave them immunity amongst those who do t understand math or orders of magnitude (which is sadly 50%+ of America)
@sbyrnes@chrisfralic And because they hammered whatever relatively minuscule stuff Hunter was accused of doing, it gives the current actors preemptive immunity to the non discerning.
@Kellblog@chrisfralic It’s a huge “benefit” of having hammered the Hunter Biden stuff. Orders or magnitude isn’t understood by most voters, so since “both sides are corrupt” (look at Hunter), it’s a magic free pass for huge real corruption.
@HappyHappyTexan@RobertMSterling So is the problem that he married a woman w $$? Should it have been someone illegally in the country on an expired work visa?
@RobertMSterling@TimFullerton So, apparently, the key is to not be poor when you start corrupting and then it’s ok, especially if you use structures like crypto and PE that very few can understand. What a joke. Incredible.
@AdamKinzinger It’d be incredibly cathartic for everyone (prob even those close to him) if somebody was allowed to slug him in that smarmy mug on national television.
@IJaSport Great reminder ^ about the importance of intelligent movement and use of space that’s the football of equivalent of “work smarter, not harder.”
