A West Sussex family subjected a girl to years of sexual and physical abuse beginning at age six, and after she reported the crimes, multiple family members were convicted and sentenced to over 100 years in prison.

Key points:

The abuse began when the girl was six and was perpetrated by her father, two brothers, and grandfather, according to court testimony.

The girl disclosed the abuse to a teacher at age 12, prompting police involvement and a Hove Crown Court trial.

The father, 43, was convicted of five counts of rape of a child under 13 and several additional sexual assault and cruelty offences.

The mother, also 43, was sentenced for four counts of cruelty to a person under 16, two counts of false imprisonment, and one count of perverting the course of justice.

The grandfather, 70, was found guilty of one count of sexual assault by penetration of a child under 13 and two counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.

I have just seen a labour party political broadcast. They are proudly stating how they are making our streets safer. Personally I have never known it to be or felt more unsafe. Honestly, I look at our leadership and think is this the best we can do?

@RobertsRadioUK what's happening to my little Robert revival petite? The paint has faded on the metal grill and the front buttons decals have faded. Barely 1 year old. For the price (and it was a gift) it's very disappointing.
