@3PickupMusicMan@JeffreyBrower1 I’ve been dealing with the same for a year, just after my last vaccine. It hit my tendons and joints hard almost right away. I had crushing fatigue, too. For months. I’m really sorry to hear you’ve been suffering with all of this.
This is the last piece of a 30-minute improv session this morning before 6 a.m. My morning songwriting sessions begin with choosing a tuning in the FretboardGPS app, then diving in... (1/2)

I think the weirder you are (or people tell you you are) the more you hide behind a mask. Dropping my mask was hard, but wearing it all the time made me burnt out & depressed.
Now my soul can mingle with others, which can be really good, or really not so good. But I'm free.
2. "Sparrow" came out of that period of what seemed to be conflicting emotions or needs. The guitar serves almost as a texture, keeping with the reflective ambience of the song.

1. Several years ago I was going through a period I called "Untying Knots." During that time I was really missing the experience of playing lead guitar and soloing. At the same time I was doing a lot of reflecting, and writing a lot of meditative, ambient music.
