2) Where was this information given prior to the last day to "affiliate" with any particular party?May 2nd was the last day to change your party before voting.I haven't been able to find a ballot posted anywhere prior to that date. That information would have changed my actions.

1) The Nebraska Republican party chose to put only the 3rd district congressional race on the non-partisan ballot. They could have chosen to include all of the races, but they did not.

I am a non-partisan voter because I don't identify strongly with either major party. Both have their pros - both have their cons.

There are two primary concerns that I have with the ballot I received.

If you tried to vote a non-partisan ballot in the Nebraska primary today, and chose to vote the Republican ticket, you were probably surprised.

I'm looking for answers as to why a non-partisan elector can't make their vote count on primary day.
