Garwin Iowa is where I live. But as a Technical Agronomist for Dekalb/Asgrow North Central Iowa is where i call home. (Views expressed are my own)

Had a great time riding the combine at our family farm yesterday. So cool to harvest DKC111-33 less than a year after being on the team to launch SSPro on elite genetics. Awesome yield and great standability combined with the best root worm protection. #SSPro #Winninghasroots

Trying to float some larva with DK111-33 Smart Star Pro! Only problem is the roots wouldn’t fit in the bucket! We are going to need bigger buckets and bigger bins!

A great new tool for the fight against root worm. Been fun showing off this new innovation from Bayer this summer.

SmartStax PRO with RNAi Technology is going root-to-root in the fight against corn rootworm. 🥊 This is data you won’t want to miss. Follow @BayerTraits and #DefendLikeAPRO.

Another beautiful night for picking corn , DKC65-95 was incredible

PLEASE go check your hayfields and pastures for fall armyworms, and please tell others you know to go check as well. I've had them reported in all TEN of the counties I cover here in EC Iowa! #ISUCrops https://t.co/ki8sgC2L66 #ISUCrops

Our 2022 dealer kickoff meetings are in the rear view mirror. It was great getting to see everyone in person. Much more fun than last year’s virtual meeting. Looking forward to seeing 2021 play out and watch our new products and technologies strut their stuff.

Severe K deficiency made possible by rootless corn syndrome in June. 1st time I’ve seen it play out this extreme. Giveaway was finding open furrows and slight bend

[paige @paigethomsen7]

I was asked how deep the corn roots were. I projected 3’ -with all the digging I had done recently…It’s tough digging roots and getting them all. 4’ here, the area had around 8” of moisture since March. V12 corn. DKC58-34RIB. Spray paint to enhance. Click to see entire root.

Last we week took some time to play around, I mean try some research. @RichJudge1& @ScottSiowaDKAS used a UAV to apply Delaro fungicide at V7-V8 corn. It was pretty sweet to be a part of this trial and see technology at work @Asgrow_DEKALB @dez_heideman

Don’t need additional crop oil or NIS with Harness Max plus Roundup. Be careful especially with these current high temps

Been a crazy week. 7 days ago I kind of discounted frost warnings. After all the weather guy hasn’t been all that accurate this spring. Shame on me. Cool seeing new growth on some of these little guys that took a beating last week, Also crazy to see his neighbor not make it
