A family group text thread is a mess when planning family gatherings & communicating details, and sometimes people get left out by accident or miss a text.
After years of work, I'm thrilled to introduce the solution to this, and much more: Family Vault

I have a friend who is 1 of 12 siblings 🤯 and I asked him how they coordinate family gatherings, and keep track of names and faces and birthdays, and all the “who, what, where, when” of it all (because that’s a LOT of nieces, nephews, siblings, etc)
His answer: (continued ⬇️)
on a family poll deciding on special get-together details.
My greatest hope is for families to become closer-knit and always on the same page, perfectly in sync with all their priceless family happenings.

I just lost my job, totally blindsided 🙁
I've been developing iOS since 2012, and now I've been deep into agentic Engineering, especially this year. My family situation requires me to work remotely. I live in Utah, USA. Please spread the word 🙏🏽 Any help? 🩷
@youqi_ai The second person tapped through because I told them I was almost certain it wouldn’t charge them and that I’d pay them back immediately if it did. If it’s any help for you, here’s the alert that shows when going through with it
One thing missing from the App Store UI is an indication that an app will be free when Purchase Sharing (aka Family Sharing) is enabled. If a family member buys an app, the 2nd member still sees the price on the download button until they attempt to buy it. A download deterrent.
@youqi_ai I haven’t had enough experience with Family Sharing to know. But the other day, I was watching some family members getting a $24.99 app, so they were super hesitant to go through with the subsequent downloads in fear that they’d have to pay more than once.
@theboyle Yeah ever since agentic coding became our new reality, Apple has been overwhelmed with the influx of App Store submissions, which totally messed up review times. We’re spoiled anyway though because 10+ years ago we used to have to plan at least 5-7 days turnaround time every time
I'm curious: what time of day/night is the App Store review team reviewing YOUR apps lately? For me, it seems to ONLY be around 1:00 AM; so if I wake up and it still hasn't been reviewed, I tell myself to wait another 24 hours and never expect a review during my waking hours.
If you live in the Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and Spokane, Washington area, please let me know if you could help my mom: She’s looking for a room to rent to live in. She’s starting a whole new life up there and it’s so brave of her! DM me instead of reply. Thank you!
