🚨 NEW HOLE DESIGN JUST DROPPED 🚨
The Last Toll | Par 3 | 241 yds
In a world that fell apart, this bridge still decides who gets through.
Designed by Gil Hanse, The Last Toll asks for courage under the truss, touch over the road, or craft around the towers. There’s no toll booth here—the only toll players will pay will be in choosing trajectory and shot shape, plus holding their nerve.
Playing as long as 241 yards, teams will be asked to either hit a high fade over the broken road, a draw around the bridge towers, or a low shot to thread the needle under or through the mayhem.
Which leaves the final question... how will you pay the toll?
TGL heads into season two with an emphasis on enhanced technology, more fun new holes, and the requirement of stronger shotmaking.

Augie Pizá is quietly becoming a star of TGL, designing wild holes like Spear, Cenote and Stinger. I chatted with him about his philosophy.
"We go back to the golden age of architecture, and I do ask myself, is that the maximum artistic expression of golf? I don't think so."
Our full 30-minute convo and a slightly abbreviated written Q&A is available here:
Meet Agustin Pizá, the mind behind wild, new TGL hole designs:

The green sits elevated in the heart of the cenote, surrounded by cliffs and cascading waterfalls. From the tee, players face two paths:
Precision Play: A daring long-iron/fairway metal from the Gold tee to the turntable-only landing zone, a 240-yard carry that's 17 yards below the tee. The platform is only 40 yards wide, demanding absolute accuracy.
Power Play: Grip it and rip it toward the V-shaped fairway ramp, starting at 274 yards (258 yards adjusted for the downhill) and stretching to 350 yards. The ramp widens the farther you hit it, but its funneling design adds intrigue—the farther right you land, the more left your ball will roll back onto the green, and vice versa. Geometry meets adrenaline.

Cenote | Par 3 | 259 yards
Taking its name from the natural limestone sinkholes of the Yucatán Peninsula, prepare for one of TGL’s most dramatic challenges in Cenote.
Designed by @pizagolf, Cenote (suh-know-tay) is the ultimate match-play disruptor, where the first player’s decision dramatically influences the second player’s strategy. Every shot is a gamble. Every yard matters.

Custom designed by Gil Hanse, this par 5 includes Sahara-type fairway bunkers similar to those Hanse used in his restoration of Baltusrol Golf Club’s Lower Course.
