Appreciate your support here. Medtech always has been and always will be all about Making Americans Healthy Again. Policy needs to keep up with our lifesaving industry. With this administration’s leadership, we can close this gap this year. #MAHA
People are dying and not being treated with up-to-date technology because of bureaucracy in the Medicare system.
Medicare coverage lags years behind FDA approval, meaning people are not getting the treatment they need and deserve.
The safety process for drugs and medical devices needs to be rigorous, but once something is proven safe, there is no reason patients shouldn’t have immediate access.
Lawmakers must act to prevent this from continuing.
Thank you for your leadership, and you are exactly right: The #medtech/#healthtech companies leading the #AI revolution need regulatory clarity as we revolutionize healthcare. Looking forward to continuing our work with you & your team on this. #MAHA

We look forward to learning more about ACCESS and to working with you and your team on the necessary policy changes to keep #medtech and #healthtech at the forefront of Making America Healthy Again. #MAHA
We couldn’t agree more, Dr. Oz—medtech is transforming patient care at a lightning pace. Medtech has been making Americans healthy again—and again and again—and we will continue to do so through innovations that increasingly put doctors and patients in the driver’s seat.
Technology can transform health care from something that happens in a doctor’s office to something that’s always within reach, empowering people to prevent disease and manage chronic conditions.
Yet, people with Original Medicare have limited access to technology-supported care options because Medicare hasn’t had a good way of paying for it. But today that’s changing: the CMS Innovation Center has launched a new model called ACCESS, which will expands access to technology-supported care.
The ACCESS model will help people integrate technology with care, achieve health goals, and Make America Healthy Again.
In #medtech, partnerships are key to evolving new technologies and reaching patients with them. This past #DiabetesAwarenessMonth, I looked at how diabetes care companies form creative alliances to serve patients.

This #WorldDiabetesDay, AdvaMed staff wore blue to honor the 136 million Americans living with diabetes & prediabetes and our many member companies developing innovative medtech that empowers patients with real-time data, alerts, and insights to manage their diabetes.
The US #medtech industry has been the global leader in driving the innovations that transform patients’ lives across the nation & around the world. Our shared goal with this administration always has & always will be to make Americans healthy again—and again, and again. #MAHA
We look forward to working with President @realDonaldTrump & @SecKennedy on their vision to “Make America Healthy Again.” Read more in my @WashingtonTimes op-ed: https://t.co/SDbk9XNFGJ
#Medtech’s longtime mission has been to get people back to life, back to work, back to full health. Our mission aligns nicely with the Administration’s goals to help make people healthy again. 1/
The legislation passed today "will create a pro-growth environment that allows America's #medtech industry to maintain its global leadership ... in innovation and manufacturing" on behalf of patients in need. -- @ScottWMedTech, President & CEO, AdvaMed, the Medtech Association
We look forward to continuing our work with the President and his administration and leaders on both sides of the Capitol who understand this vital policy dynamic. 7/7
Supporting policies that lower the cost of doing business and opposing policies that raise the cost are essential to ensuring U.S. medtech’s expanding global leadership role. 6/
This is a bold vision—and #medtech is already leading to achieve it. I’ve seen it firsthand with our Type-1 diabetic daughter: Putting patients in the driver’s seat with clear, instant data on their own vitals? It’s game changing and life saving.

Great interview on @FoxBusiness with @jeffdilullo of @Philips. Philips is doing remarkable work all around, but the focus here was on the incredible promise of #AI for better patient outcomes, ending with an important discussion of tariffs:

I testified in the Senate today on the impact tariffs are having on the #medtech supply chain. We support the President's goals to restore U.S. manufacturing & fix trade imbalances, but here's why medtech is unique when it comes to tariffs:
