You posed questions to grok about turning America into a Christian theocracy that I didn’t advocate for, nor did the FF. The US constitution is incomparable with Islam due to Islams adherence to Sharia Law - which isn’t comparable with our constitution. Of course it protects religious freedoms. That wasn’t my point. Atheism is protected but isn’t compatible with the constitution due to words like “endowed by our creator” (God) in the declaration. Atheism lacks divine authority, making rights granted and revocable. This is why it incompatible, and why John Adam’s wrote what he wrote.

The framework was designed to protect religions freedom from dominating Christian authorities, like the Roman Catholic Church. It was in fact established by Christians. Making this country a theocracy wouldn’t work because we don’t want the pope to dictate policy. However, this is a Christian nation at its roots. John Adam’s wrote the Massachusetts constitution. He also wrote “Our Constitution (US) was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

That is false. America was created by white Christian men. White Christian men wrote the constitution. James Madison and Alexander Hamilton were Christian men. In fact, none of the FF were Jews, or Atheist. None were Chinese or Mexican. They wanted to separate church from state so the state couldn’t influence the church. Nine original states had a Christian religion at ratification. This nation was founded on Christianity. Its laws are rooted in Christian values. The rights you have are from God. The constitution is incompatible with Islam and atheism. Atheism can’t appeal to Gods authority. Islam promotes sharia law.
