Lab results regarding Elkhorn Creek. There is a "high normal" concentration.

Parks will open at 1pm today for recreational water sports. We recommend no extended contact with the water until the water returns to its pre-release condition.

Daily water testing will continue.

Lab results came back positive on Elkhorn Creek. It's not safe for people to go in the water yet. Parks will stay closed at least one more day.

Oser, Great Crossing, and Cardome entrances to creek remain closed. No boating, fishing or swimming until lab tests show creek is safe.

Elkhorn Creek water access (boating and swimming) will be closed at Oser Landing, Great Crossing, and Cardome.

There has been a sewer main break that has released an estimated 100,000 gallons of sewage into Elkhorn Creek.

No one can be in the water until testing is completed.

Paris Pike blocked between Scotland Drive and Elkhorn Green Place due to serious accident. Avoid this area if possible. We will advise when reopened.
