Inflation was here before Putin (Jan-Feb-March 7.2%-7.9%-8.5%), you can't print unlimited cash and expect prices not to rise.

Also, what is definition of transient? We are two years into this....when do you stop claiming it's transient?

Referring to this mess as "Putin's price hike" actually feels condescending at this point. People aren't clueless enough to believe this inflation is all due to Russia.

March's 8.5% inflation is highest since 1981, when interest rates were 20%. They are now 0.25%

@BackpackerFI Categorically untrue- it has ranged between $24K & $69K, including the 50% May crash, full recovery to ATH in Q4 & now another pull back.

If I travel around the world & end up back at home, I wouldn't say I've gone nowhere that year (btw BTC is actually up 75% in last 13 months)

Looking at after-hours, pricing moving minimally anyway.
